My Story

My name is Louis Stevens and I'm a student based in Brighton who makes hand carved wooden jewellery in my spare time.

I love wood carving and this shop is my way of sharing my work with the world. All my designs are inspired by nature and each carving is completely unique and takes hours of intricate hand carving to make them.

I wanted to use my passion for wood carving to create something beautiful and also make a difference for a good cause. That's why 10% of all profit from Tortue Designs is donated to the amazing charity SEE Turtles to help save, my favourite animal, baby sea turtles.

Billion Baby Turtles!

Tortue Designs donates 10% from all sales to 'SEE Turtles' amazing billion baby turtles initiative, for every $1 donated they can save at least 10 endangered hatchlings. SEE Turtle support nesting beaches around the world where human activities threaten sea turtle populations.

The funds go towards paying local residents to patrol important turtle nesting beaches, protecting turtles that come up to nest, and ensuring that the eggs are protected. To date, they have saved more than 2.8 million hatchlings!
